Built in 1902, the beautifully restored depot in Bristol, VA, was the fourth depot to serve Bristol VA/TN. It sits on land donated to the Virginia and Tennessee Railroad in 1848 by Rev. James King.
Passenger service continued until 1971 when Norfolk and Western suspended service. Norfolk Southern still uses Bristol as a division point and for crew changes.
