The 3:57 Northstar crosses the Mississippi, headed east from Target Field Station before turning Northwest to head to Big Lake. The truss section at the left is a rare example of a Petit truss bridge, and was added in 1963 to allow barges to travel further upriver. The giant black roof far in the background is US Bank Stadium, home of the Minnesota Vikings.
