Penn Central was in no hurry to spend money on repainting commuter equipment, so in September 1968 this evening rush hour train train that was ready to leave Boston's South Station for Framingham on the former Boston & Albany still presented an all-New York Central image, as passenger service RS3 5527 led three NYC heavyweight coaches.
