| For the second day running, a Mt Gibson Perenjori ore train had failed out near Morawa on the ruling grades. Having been reduced in length due to locomotive shortages as a result of the previous day's failure, and having only 2 locomotives instead of the usual 3, P2513 & P2509 crawl through Narngulu East with 4721 loaded ore to Geraldton. That morning, this train was stuck at Morawa for hours before a loco crew arrived to help set the train back and give it another run up at the grade before continuing its journey. |
