CN 561 unloads the Georges Alexandre Lebel vessel at Matane, QC. This vessel was acquired by CN in 2008 from Compagnie de gestion de Matane Inc., a shuttle boat-rail freight service on the St. Lawrence River between Matane, Baie-Comeau, and Sept-?les, QC. The rail ferry can handle up to 25 freight cars and connects with CN in Matane. Now used by CN as a buffer car to load and unload the Georges Alexandre Lebel, the caboose CFMG 9101, was built from a 472000-series CN Box Car at the Pointe-St-Charles shops in Montreal in April 1971 (ex-CN 79507).
