Chopped-nose Maine Central GP7 590 leads a pair of Boston & Maine GP9s on train CPSP (Newport, VT, to Springfield, MA, via CP/B&M) southbound at Brattleboro, VT. The B&M Connecticut River Line trains were long a regular assignment for the railroad's lighter power thanks to modest grades.
