| "NYC Transit on the Interchange"
New York City Transit's Linden Yard switcher drags loaded stick rail flats from the New York & Atlantic Railway Interchange off the Bay Ridge Branch into Linden Yard. Linden Yard is one of only two connections the New York City Subway has to the national rail network and is used to interchange supplies such as stick rail and ties. |
