| Here we see IMRL 4th Sub action in the form of this westbound Marquette to Mason City freight train. The train has alittle of everything for extra power from eastbounds that setout power due to the river grades south of Marquette. Westbounds will drag the extra power back to Mason for the next eastbounds that needs it to get over this 4th Sub (4 units is the norm). The train is seen here between Lawler and New Hampton as they past MP 67. IMRL was dissolved into the IC&E on July 29, 2002. |
