NS 8115 & 8075 were pulling an empty hopper train of KGLX aluminum hoppers for synthetic gypsum from USG Washingtonville Plant. A 3 car derailment occurred seventeen cars from the rear end. The derailed hoppers are seen just west of the switch into Montour Power Plant. KGLX 901061 & KGLX 901108 were rerailed in the cleanup, but the middle hopper, KGLX 901089, sustained enough damage that it was cleared off the right-of-way for future disposition.
