Close to sunset, new Santa Fe SD75M No. 228 leads a 589 intermodal train out of Houston, TX, at Hercules, CA. The train will now briefly skirt Suisun Bay before passing the big UPS facility at North Bay, and then head for the yard at Richmond. In later years, Santa Fe's SD75s saw service on BNSF unit coal and grain trains, a testament to their pulling power.
