Remarks & Notes

The early 1980s edition of Vermont's Washington County Railroad made its living moving passenger car shells and finished products to and from Bombardier's assembly plant in Barre. Here Washington County S1 25 plows through the vegetation that pretty much overgrew the whole railroad as it hauls New Jersey Transit commuter car bodies from the Central Vermont interchange in Montpelier up to the Bombardier plant for final assembly.
