For the first passenger car movements in around 70 years on this corridor, CI&W 4295 brings 4 ex:Santa Fe Bi-Level cars, just recently restored in Nashville one step closer to their new home. The Nickel Plate Express railroad, a newly created Hamilton County tourist railroad, has been working for months for with other companies to restore and use these cars on there line in central Indiana. These cars where moved to Lapel where they will be trucked out 15 miles West to their new home.
