| Train 571 pulls its train of empties up the 2%+ grade above the Highway 99 overpass. The former BC Rail grade from here to Kelly Lake is one of the longest and toughest in North America. The massive ridge in the backdrop of the photo is the Fountain Ridge, which the railroad skirts between here and Lillooet. |
