With the removal of some trees along the tracks in a northwestern neighborhood of Tacoma, a new location opens up. Here, we see a Charger locomotive leading train number 504 along Puget Sound as it nears the station stop in Tacoma. This vantage will only be possible for Amtrak trains for a few months as trains are once again expected to be diverted onto the Point Defiance Bypass starting next spring.
