Remarks & Notes

A Black River & Western local returns from the Conrail interchange at Three Bridges, passing through Flemington's Turntable Junction shopping center. BRW 1554 is an ex-Jersey Central RS-3 of the same number that would be sold to the Hawk Mountain Chapter NRHS a short time after this photo was taken. This unit now operates in full CNJ livery on the Delaware-Lackawanna in Scranton, PA.
