| An eastbound ethanol train out of western Iowa passes an old relic on the CN Waterloo Sub. While the CCP exist on paper still, physical evidence is getting hard to find along the Iowa route. The CCP has been gone since 1996, but few station signs still remind people where this piece of railroad has come and gone. Austinville is located 35 miles west of Waterloo. This train is bound for interchange with CSXT at Hawthorne Yard in Chicago. |
