| A visit to my in-laws on my days off gave me some short time to get out and get some CP action in southern Iowa. One thing about the CP line to KC is traffic has really come on over the past couple years. A combo sand load has 204 loaded cars as they pass over the Foster Bridges between Blakesburg and Moravia on a hot and humid summer evening. The train is in a 2x1x1 DP setup to handle this heavy 8700 foot train (KCS-NS/UP/KCS). The engineer has the headend in full dynamic as they crosses over Soap Creek in southern Iowa on the CP Laredo Sub. |
