| Shunter Ge 2/2 # 162 of the Rhaetian Railway at Tirano/Italy. This little 340 HP locomotive called "Asnin" (donkey) was built in 1911 by SIG and Alioth for the then independent Bernina Railway, mainly for leading service on the heavy grades of 7.0 %. Now it is 107 years old and still used for the daily shunting at Tirano. |
