Capitol Along the East Bay: Pinole, California provides some excellent views of trains along San Pablo Bay. In this scene, Amtrak California Dash-8 number 2052 leads an afternoon Capitol Corridor train along the water on a crisp winter day. A short time after this photograph was taken, the two CalTrans Dash-8s were pulled from regular passenger service. Today, they are used only when necessary.
