| A pair of QJ's drift past the lower quadrant semaphores into Xiakengzi station, while another pair leave a trail of steam and smoke as the labor uphill with a maximum 2300 tonne train towards the summit of Jingpeng Pass. It was the last winter of all-steam action on the Jitong; the diesels were making their presence known on other divisions of the railway and soon would dominate even here. |
