| An empty sand train heading for the Tomah Sub east of LaCrossse works up the Marquette Sub near Reno. The railroad swings away from the Mississippi River as they cross this causeway in the back waters of Crooked Creek. The train is about 44 miles north of Marquette. The train will turn the corner for the Tomah in 18 miles at LaCrescent. Glad to see this 9817 leader in newer paint! |
