| The NS Safety Train has made its way to Chesapeake Western's yard in Harrisonburg for a week of classes and hands on training for the city's fire and rescue personnel. It has only been in town several hours and railfans from the area have been collecting their one in a lifetime shot of a unique visitor to the CW. I collected my shot atop of the local university's new parking deck that now sits on what was once the Rockingham Cooperative Farm Bureau and feed mill. The feed mill, once a customer for the CW, succumbed to the areas grain elevators & the cooperative relocated, making way for the university to acquire the real estate to accommodate for its growing student population. |
