A westbound train on the Modoc Line departs Alturas for Klamath Falls, Oregon. The train is coming off the alignment of the Nevada-California-Oregon narrow gauge and entering the grade of the Modoc Northern, a line built in the late 1920s. If all goes well, the crew should arrive at Klamath Falls in about four hours.
