After clearing downtown Dalton, GA, the southbound CSX Q676-19 (Nashville,TN-Hamlet,NC) start to pick up the pace on the south side of the Walnut Industrial Park, on the CSX Western & Atlantic Sub (WA). The track next to the CSX main is the NS Atlanta North-End which pace the CSX main for about 3 to 4 extra miles south til both railroad main split, and continue south, just north of the Resca, and Carbondale area.
