| Passing the historic Winnsboro Depot: With First Responder training coming up in Columbia next week, the OAR train was on the move today. It made a nice daylight run down the northern portion of the R-Line en route to Columbia. One of my favorite locations on this section of the line is the historic Winnsboro Depot. While it is no longer used for the railway, the local Winnsboro Area Chamber of Commerce still uses the facility today. As such, much of the buildings face remains untouched and in relatively good shape. |
