Remarks & Notes

A Milwaukee Road freight exits the best trackage it will experience between Tacoma and at least Miles City, MT. Maple Valley trackage was the former Pacific Coast, then BN (through the GN), and MILW used it from Seattle to Black River Jct., then east to here. At this point it entered its own trackage, which by 1979 was not in great shape. (MILW uses joint UP trackage from Tacoma to Black River Jct.)
