| In the mid-1980s, three-unit sets of six-axle GEs were the usual road freight power on Conrail's former Boston & Albany line, but weekend power balancing often led to doubling up. Here six big GEs led by C30-7A 6574 roll westbound piggyback train TV-9 out of Boston through suburban Wellesley, MA. |
