“Squeeze Play” Viewed from Lover's Leap, CSX R217 (Philadelphia-New Boston, MI auto racks) is westbound through the Cumberland Narrows, just west of Cumberland, MD. Between Haystack Mountain (on the left) and Wills Mountain (photographer's position), squeezed into the Narrows are the former Western Maryland Railway (now the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad), National Highway (US40ALT), Wills Creek, and the double-tracked former B&O main (then CSX’s Main Line Sub, now the Keystone Subdivision).
