CNW 947 and mate 947 sit near the sand tower at Western Avenue yard in St. Paul, MN. This location is one of approximately 13 yards around the Twin Cities that CNW once operated due to its acquisition of various railroads over time. This one was part of the "Omaha" and is along the mainline to that city just west of downtown St. Paul.
