Class GP40, MILW 2000 and mate wait their turn for servicing at Bensenville, IL outside of Chicago. These handsome Geeps were about to be downgraded a bit with the arrival of some of the earliest constructed SD40-2s in the fall of 1972. MILW had not yet started using their billboard lettering on locomotives.
