It's a cold January day in 1976 and rather weird to find a Penn Central E8 parked at their 56th St. Yard in Chicago with fellow EMD power, GP7 5609 and SD40 6060. The 4064 survived the winter and formation of Conrail in April 1976 and was restored back to its 1953 New York Central color scheme. Conrail retired no. 5609 in April 1976. PC 6060 was biult as Pennsy 6060 in Feb. 1966. Made it to Norfolk Southern.
