Remarks & Notes

CN train #340 had some issues and stalled climbing out of the Mississippi River Valley east of Savanna. So a BNSF Northtown to Chicago train had to cut their power and push the train up the grade. Here the 340 is slowly back on the move again with an Oakway SD60 and a BN GP38 pushing on the rear end. The train is about to pass the west switch at Burke. These CN haulage trains were cool trains to see running over the BN/BNSF in the late 90's.
