| Dawn has just broken as former Nord Railway Pacific No 231.C.17 from the first batch of so called Super Pacifics built in 1923-24 appears to be making an odd manoeuvre at the Dunkirk-Ferry station or is it going to double-head with Chapelon 231.E.10 on the 05.38 Dunkirk to Basle express which it will take to Lille. This train conveyed the through Wagon Lits from London to Brussels. Photo by the late Peter Gray. |
