| A southbound empty coal train bound for McClure Mine passes thru West Pauley on the Big Sandy. The train is working between Russell and Shelby. Unfortunately at Shelby the train would park and not run til later, not giving us the opportunity to do some Clinchfield action. Pauley is located on a short 5 mile section of double track between Pauley and Wagner, about 10 miles north of Shelby. This is ex-C&O country, and the signals still say such. |
