CSX MP15T 1220 stands with a NS C39-8 and CSX B36-7 at Montgomery, Alabama in October 2003. All three units in this scene have been retired, 1220 was retired in July 2009 after being struck by a loaded asphalt truck which caused heavy damage during an ensuing derailment. Of the 43 MP15T's built, Seaboard System, predecessor to CSX purchase all but one which went to Dow Chemical making the MP15T model a rather rare unit. (Slide Scan)
