| If you come to Denver you should stop by the 48th Avenue Viaduct (just east of Kalamath Street). From that vantage point you can easily watch and photograph the UP's North Yard as well as catch incoming and outgoing BNSF freight that uses the tracks just to the east of the North Yard. Also adjacent to this location is the RTD Commuter Rail shops and the BNSF Intermodal facility where you can watch them load and unload container cars. Bring your lunch as there is a lot to see. |
