Arguably the two biggest landmarks in South Philly are the Sports Complex and the Walt Whitman Bridge. For those with ferroequine interests, a new one appeared in 1992 when CP/D&H established an intermodal terminal along Columbus Avenue under the Walt Whitman Bridge. Here a GP9/SD40 duo shuffles cars around the new terminal.
