As Siu lam station is the Guang Zhu spur line station for Xinhui, the west-bound Zhanjiang trains need to be separated at Siu lam station. Not every train bound for west of Zhanjiang will stop at Siu lam station because there is no independent main line at Siu lam station. Therefore, there will be trains passing through Siu Lam Station, that is, non-stop trains.
