Remarks & Notes

This freight from the East is about to enter CN's huge Montreal Yard (now called Taschereau Yard). This scene has changed considerably as the heavy industry is gone - the Norco fuel distribution plant closed and the huge Consumers Glass plant was destroyed in 1995 in a massive fire, replaced with a housing development. The CN four track mainline still is very active and the bridge in the background behind the CN signal bridge is the CP Adirondack Subdivision.
