Remarks & Notes

The Lehigh Valley heritage unit rolls 11R off the Mohawk River bridge and is about to cross Maxon Road. LV units were a common sight here running SB on D&H NE-87 back in the pre Conrail D&H era. The 50 car NS 11R is running from East Deerfield, MA (Pan Am) to Binghamton. The NS crew took over at Mohawk Yard on the other side of the bridge after a Pan Am crew brought 11R over from East Deerfield. Just a little over a mile ahead the ownership of these tracks changes from CP to NS at CP-485.
