| The DF class was built by GM in Canada and upgraded to GT22MC in 1990's. Metlink leases KiwiRail power for trains between the capital and Masterton. This train is one of the afternoon peak trains outward along Wellington's harbor, serving several towns on the other side of the 5.5 mile long tunnel through the Rimutaka Ranges. |
