| The Connecticut Valley Railroad, also known as the Essex Steam Train & Riverboat runs a number of Christmas trains each season. On weekends during the season, the railroad is running trains for most of the day using all three operable steam locomotives on the roster. Valley #40 is 1920 American Locomotives Works product built at the Dunkirk, NY plant. Here it leads the 1:00 Santa Special across Deep River Creek. |
