Remarks & Notes

The "storm of the century" is raging but the Canadian Pacific station staff have cleared enough snow off the platform for the few passengers to board the D&H train to New York City. The D&H's four PA-1's could not cover all the passenger trains in the winter as two were need for adequate steam heating capacity. The solution was to borrow four E-8's from the EL as both the D&H and EL were under the control of the N&W.
