| Sometimes it can really pay off not to procrastinate on certain things on certain railroads that can seem too good to be true. I made a spontaneous decision to get up to Saratoga one September evening and record this scene with the SNC dinner train at the Amtrak station. The handsome AZER E9 would be gone off the property in a few months, the Alco S2 repainted in a few years as well as the B39-8 leaving and by 2018, the entire railroad went bankrupt and sadly dismantled. |
