Remarks & Notes

The local is working the small Atwater Transfer Yard on the north bank of the Lachine Canal. The swing bridge that carries the CP's busy Adirondack Sub. over the Lachine Canal is out of service as commercial shipping ended the previous year. Later, the tower will be demolished and the bridge fixed in place. The local will have to climb a steep switchback to get up to the Adirondack Sub.
