| This grand old lady (Susan by name) will celebrate her 100th birthday later this year! Former South African Railways class 12AR 4-8-2 no.1535 was built in 1919 by the North British Locomotive Company and is lovingly cared for by the Reefsteamers Association at Germiston, just outside Johannesburg. On this occasion she was performing for the cameras at the Reefsteamers early morning winter photo shoot. |
