Old neighbors. Webb Rail LLC - WEBX's “Babbling Brook” and Morristown and Erie Railway Alco C424 18 could frequently be found next to each other in recent years, when the Brook was stored at the M&E. Built for the Toledo, Peoria, and Western in 1964, the unit was acquire but the M&E before ultimately being purchased by the Illinois Railway Museum and arriving at the museum on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. On its way to the Illinois Railway Museum, former M&E C424 18 sits at Oak Island Yard in Newark, NJ next to the Webb Rail LLC - WEBX 'Babbling Brook' on November 28, 2018.
