The overnight "Atlantic Limited" from Saint John, NB is slowing to a stop on Track 1 at the suburban Montreal West station as it nears the end of its journey. Most days the consist included a container car. In 1965 CP built six container flats from old heavyweight passenger cars for use on the Montreal-Toronto passenger trains. When these trains were dropped the cars were used on the Montreal to Saint John trains. The cars carried mail and express, and often fresh fish.
