Remarks & Notes

A westbound Conrail hopper train is headed back to the mines as it rolls through Bridgeport, Pennsylvania. The motive power consist is somewhat unusual with an SD38 as the second unit. Conrail’s SD38’s were almost exclusively used in yard service.
