| This shot pretty up sums up why I got into railroad photography and never looked back. Standing in near waist deep snow, listening to the SEBO claw up the grade at MP142 like a wounded animal after a fierce blizzard walloped the Berkshires. The traction motors on the CR 6615 finally giving out as I snapped this shot with my old Nikon in the near sub-zero wind chill on an unspeakably clear and frigid January morning. Winter railroading in the Berkshires at its finest and toughest. |
